The choice is yours.

The choice is yours....... How many people think that chuck o rama is gross? I bet 99% of you reading this nodded your head in an almost unanimous "yes". Many of you don't know that I have the unofficial title of the "artful diner." This title means that I am a connesuer of tasty and quality foods. I as the widely proclaimed and famous artful diner announce that chuck-o-rama officially has the stamp of approval from the artful diner. I endorse this as not only a quality restaurant, but also has earned an official spot on my top ten list of restaruants. I know a lot of you might think I am going crazy or that the smell of burned hair has damaged my taste buds, but when all is said and done the choice is yours..... go ahead and try it out.

This morning was a pretty rough one...... I heard Shannon screaming my name in the bathroom (which usually means there is a spider for me to kill). While I was running to the bathroom I could hear her yelling "My hair is on fire! My hair is on fire." As I got closer to the bathroom I could smell burned hair which started to worry me. When I poked my head in the bathroom I found Shannon in tears holding a clump of burned hair in her hand and repeating her words "My hair is on fire." She told me that her blowdryer shot a spark directly in her hair and when you mix a small flame and hair spay it is almost as bad as a vietname napalm bomb. This toxic combination led to a small area on the top of her head that was literraly burned off. Luckily she can laugh about it now, but at the time it was pretty dramatic.

The Latest

There is not a lot of news for Shannon and I. Our lives right now are kind of uneventful, but extremely busy- especially Shannon's school. Last month was especially stressful with her school. Her instructor made a rule that for anyone who scores below a 75% on a test will automatically get kicked out of the cohort and will be pushed back atleast six months. Needless to say she was very nervous to to take her exams. Of course Shannon passed, but there was a lot of stress and anxiety that went along with her preparing for the tests. She is half way done with her progam and will graduate (as long as she never gets below a 75% on the rest of her tests) next March. I am still enjoying my job at Summit High school. I am sad that I won't be able to work there during the summer, so I am looking for a summer job. We recently visited Mom and Dad and had a fun weekend in Beaver. Dad and I built hope chests (which we hope to sell) and Shannon and Mom made an apple pie. I am so greatful that Shannon now knows how to make Mom's apple pie! She made one the other day and I wasn't in regular heaven, but I was in Pie Heaven!
